Sustainable / Eco-friendly Tips for Throwing a Party
- Reduce paper waste by sending E-vites & E-thank yous
- Reduce impact on the environment by avoiding helium and
foil / Mylar balloons which have negative effects on the environment, animals,
and humans. Biodegradable 100% latex balloons are a earth-friendlier choice!
- Reduce carbon footprint by choosing local vendors and
partners
- Reduce unnecessary waste by trying to choose crafts / party
favors that will last longer than a couple of hours or days before going in the
garbage.
When creating our birthday party package for The Cubhouse, we’ve been thoughtful about making choices that are as sustainable and earth-friendly as possible. All of our themed decor comes from Meri Meri - not only are their products completely adorable, they also care about their responsibility to the environment! Meri Meri uses FSC® certified papers, wood whenever possible, dyes with water-based ink and is certified by the Biodegradable Product Institute. Their fabric décor, wooden, and paper garlands are intended to be stored and reused, which we intend to do when throwing parties at The Cubhouse!
